Hey! Thanks for visiting my blog – it’s my personal playground for ideas and thoughts.
My name is Mazvita and I write words whenever I find something intriguing (or if it’s commissioned, that usually works too). You might find me campaigning to end period poverty, writing articles about the African Diaspora and anything that tickles my fancy really.
I write about Africa and black women in particular because we have historically been rubbed out of conversationsat every opportunity available. So my lifelong mission is to preserve as much about us as I can, while I’m here.
I take pride in being African and I will always make reporting on black news and news coming out of the African and Caribbean diaspora my primary focus.
I also write poetry, mostly to express anguish – as I try to be anything but angry in my ordinary life.
I hope you enjoy your time here!
